Please attach your essay of no more than 500 words that describes: (1) how you have represented the Somers Community in a positive light in terms of sportsmanship, leadership and dedication, (2) what you have learned through your dedication and sportsmanship about yourself and (3) how you intend to carry these experiences and lessons forward after high school.

The Somers Education Foundation is delighted to offer scholarships to Somers High School graduating seniors who demonstrate excellence in a variety of domains.

The Somers Education Foundation (SEF), established in 1994, is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt organization comprised of parents, school representatives and community members. SEF supports Somers schools by raising funds for specific student and teacher-initiated projects that enrich the educational experience and are not funded by the district’s budget.
